Designer / Production Tips

For roll-to-roll or dual-roll jobs, specify edge registration, material width and roll weights up front to ensure smooth loading and avoid material handling issues. If designing for rigid board work, make sure the boards fall within the width and thickness limits and consider that foldable roll tables and dual-track feeding are features that support fast job changeovers. When special effects (such as white under-print, varnish or heavy stocks) are required, these should be indicated clearly to pre-press so the correct channels and ink configurations are used.
